but is Credibly Informed & Verily believes
that he is gone to the West Indies
and
is not likely to return for a considerable
time and this Depont: saith that the sd: Chelton

hath for about Four Months past left
his Son William Bartholomew< no role >
who was bound
apprentice
to him, to provide for himself having
taken no manner of care of him so that he
must inevitably have perished for want if this
Depont. had not provided for him And this Depont.
saith that he hath taken out a Warrant from one of his
Majties: Justices of the peace for the sd: County against
the sd: Chelton Clarke< no role >
for not providing for his sd. Apprentice
sufficient necessaries, in Order to have him apprehended &
bound over to appear in this Court to answer the complain
of his sd: Apprentice and although this Depont. hath
used his utmost diligened to enquire for the sd. Chelton
Clarke< no role >
in Order to have ye sd. Warrant served, he this
Depont. cannot find him but Verily believes he is gone
to the West Indies
as aforesd.
