Upon mocon this day made unto this Court by
Mr. Corbet of Councell for Edward Knight< no role > the
Psecutor of an Indictmt. preferred against William
Powell< no role > for a misdemeanor, and upon reading
the affidt. of the said Knight that Thomas Thompson< no role >
a very materiall witness for him is lately gone
to Holland Etc It is Ordered by this Court that
the triall of the traverse of the said William
Powell< no role > upon the said Indictmt. be deferred &
putt off untill the nextGenerall QSessions of
Oier & terminer to be holden for this County
unless the said William Powell< no role > shall
haveing notice hereof shall to morrow
morning at ten of the clock shew unto this
Court good cause to the contrary.
