To the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlett
of Wapping Stepney in the County of Middlx And to the
Church: wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Walton in the County of Surry

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands
and Seales are hereunto Sett two of his Maties Justices of
the Peace of the Said County of Middx (quor vuns) by the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlett of
Wapping Stepney abovesaid that Mary Deacon< no role > the
widdow of Henry Deacon< no role > deced with her two Children
(vizt) Peter Deacon< no role > aged five yeares and as halfe and
Henry Deacon< no role > aged three years is lately come into the
Said Hamlett [..] vouring to Settle herselfe and Said
Children there contrary to Law and she being in Poor and
mean Circumstances Wee adjudge them likely to become
chargeable to the Said Hamlett and whereas it appears [..]
unto us the Said Justices of the Peace upon the Examination [..]
of the Said Mary Deacon< no role > taken upon her Oath that her
said late husband Henry Deacon< no role > was in his life time last [..]
legally Settled in the Parish of Walton in the Said County
of Surry which wee the said Justices of the Peace Do
adjudge to be true therefore wee adjudge her and her said
Childrens Settlements to do there and where by Law they
are to be Sent

These are therefore in his Maties
Name to will and require you to convey and Pass the
said Mary Deacon< no role > and her said two Children f [..]
your said Hamlett of Wapping Stepney to the Parish
of Walton abovesaid in the said County of Surry
and deliver them to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or to Some or one of them who
are hereby required to provide for them According to
Law: Given under our lands & Seales this 16th day
of January An Dom 1726
