what shall be See assigned is to be allowed to the Said Butler & Mills for their
owne use And that the Said Sume of Six hundred & eighty pounds is in the
Opinion of the Said Justices a reasonable price for rebuilding the aforesaid
part of the Said budge, And that two hundred twenty & Six pounds thirteene
Shillings & four pence part thereof was advanced & paid by Sr Daniel Dolins< no role >
Knt Chairman of this Court in pursuance of the Said Order out of Moneys
by him reced of the Exer of Sr Isaac Eillard< no role > Knt Deced late Trear if Bridge
Money and other Moneys in his hands unto the Said William Butler< no role > and
John Mills< no role > at the time of their Sealing and delivery of the Said Articles
And that the Said Justices have covenanted by the said Articles that they or
the Tear of the Moneys to be raised for repaire of the publique Bridges of
this County shall pay two hundred twenty & Six pounds thirteen shillings &
four pence other part of the Said Six hundred & eighty pounds after the
aforesaid part of the Said Bridge shall be wholey planked And two
hundred twenty Six pounds thirteen Shillings & four pence residue thereof
and in full of their demands after the compleating & finishing the
rebuilding thereof in A good Substantiall & workman like manner and
after that Such Justices of the peace as shall be appointed by the Court to
Survey the Said worke shall have certifyed to the Court that the aforesaid
part of the Said Bridge hath been well & sufficiently rebuilt with good
Sound Oaken Timber planks and all other materialls in A Substantiall
and workman like manner according to the intent of the aforesaid
covenant of the Said workmen who have alsoe each of them entred
into a Bond into the Said Justices with Surety for their Pformance of
their covenants in the Said Articles, And that it is the Opinion of the
Said Justices and alsoe Severall experienced workemen have declared that
it is their Opinion that if two Starlings were Erected & placed for Secureing
the aforesaid part of the Said Bridge Such Starlings would very much
conduce to the Prservacon and duracon thereof And that the expence &
charge of erecting the Said Starlings & finding timber and all other materialls
for that purpose will amount to the further Sume of Ninety pounds or thereabouts
over & above the Sume of Six hundred & eighty pounds above menconed as by the
Said Report relacon being there unto had may more at large appeare This Court
upon consideracon had of the prmes Doth Order that the aforesaid Report and
the matters & things therein Specifiyed be ratifyed & confirmed and the Same are
hereby ratifyed & confirmed accordingly And as to the Erecting and placeing of
Starlings for Secureing the aforesaid part of the Bridge It is Ordered by this
Court that it be And It is hereby recomended & referred back to the Said Comittee

any three or more of them to treat with & take A contract from Workemen
for the erecting & placeing of Starlings in A good Substantiall & workman like
Manner for Secureing Such part of the aforesaid Bridge as is in this County
and to find goods Sound Timber and all other materialls for the doeing
thereof in Such manner as the Said Justices of the peace or any three
of them shall thinke fit.
