To the Right Worpfull his Maties. Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in Quarter Sessions assembled

The humble peticon & appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Hesset in the County
of Suffolt.

Sheweth

That by warrant or order dated the thirteenth day of April
last under the hands & Seals of Samll. Jones< no role > & Philip Wilshire< no role > Esqrs . two
of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the Said County of Middlx one
Anne Pett< no role > Widdow of James Pett< no role > deced & their two Children
Elizabeth< no role > aged about three years & an halfe and Joseph< no role > aged about
eighteen months which were become chargeable to the hamblett of Mile
end old Towne in the Parish of Stepney in the Said County of Middlx (as
was alledged in the Said order) were removed & conveyed from the
said Hamblett to the Said Parish of Hesset (by the name of the Parish of
Haset) in the Said County of Suffolk , as the place of the last legal Settlemt.

That your Peticoners find themselves aggreived by the Said order of
removeall & appeal to this Court against the Same

Yor. Peticoners & appellants liveing at a great Distance &
not being ready with their witnesses to have the Said
Appeal heard & determined this prsent Sessions humbly
Pray that this their Appeal may be now reced by the
Court & the hearing & determineing thereof may be
adjorned to Such day of the next genal quarter Session of
the peace to be held for this County as the Court Shall
think fitt to appoint & that the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the Said Hamblett of Milend Old Towne &
all other P fons concerned may be ordered to attend this
Court accordingly to hear & abide the Judgment and
determinacon of this Court upon & touching the Said
appeal & that your peticoners may be releived herein
according to Law & Justice
