are hereunto Subscribedhands & Seales are hereunto sett Justices of the peace for
this County residing within Finsbury Division
aforesaid, For the obtaining a discovery of what
persons Sell Geneva or other Spirituous liquors
[..] by retail within the Same Division
Doe hereby require & comand you the said
high Constable immediatelyforthwithto issue forth your
precepts to the respective petty Constables of the
Severall parishes & hambletts within yor. Said Division
thereby requireing them & every of them forthwith to
inquire and personally to Search for and take an
accompt in Writing ofSuchall houses Shops & placesas
for the Selling ofwithin their Severall Districts for the Selling
aforesaidof Geneva or not Gent Spirituous liquors and of the true Christian names & Surnames
of all Such persons who sell Geneva or other Spirituous
liquors by retail within their respective Districts and of the
Streets & places wherein their houses & Shops are
Scituate, And to returnareSuch accomptthereof
fairly written Upon Oath unto us or other his Maties.
Justices of the peace for this County residing within
the Said Division, at the Christian Coffee house in
St. John Street in this County onthe
day of November instant at ten of the clock
