Parish ofMonkon Hadley in the County of
Middx aforesd;and to the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish ofSouth mims
in the Countyaforesd and to every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-
wardens, and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
ofMonkon Hadley unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace (Quorum
unus) for the County aforesaid, thatRichard Scarrell< no role > with Mary< no role >
his wife and their two Children (Vizt:) Elizabeth< no role > aged
about two years and William< no role > aged abt. six Months have
lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish of
Monkon Hadley there to inhabit asyor.Parishioners contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the [..]
[..] not [..] prevented. And Whereas up
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesupon Oath
of the said Richard Scarrell< no role > it appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidRichard
Scarrell
< no role > with his wife and Children are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofMonkon
Hadley and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
Richard Scarrell< no role > was in the said Parish ofSouth mims , and
that he and his said wife and Children ought
to be sent thither

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish ofMonkon Hadley aforesaid, That you, or some
of you do forthwith remove and convey the saidRichd Scarrell< no role > wth. his
sd wife and their sd two Children 3from your said Parish ofMonkon Hadley
to the said Parish ofSouthmims andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are likewife requir'd in his Majesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such case made, forthwith
to receive the saidRichd. Scarrell< no role > his wife and Children
into their saidPish of Southmims and provide forthem there
as their own Parishiones. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
26th.day ofJanuaryAnno ReguiDui uri
