To the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. Giles without Cripplegate in the Said County And to the
Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the Hamblett of
of Ratcliffe in the parish of St. Dunstan Stepney in the
Said County.

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of his
Maties Justices of the peace for the Said County (quor unus) by the
Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Giles
without Cripplegate in the Said County That Jane Ascough< no role >
widdow of Henry Ascough< no role > is lately come into the Said
parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law And
unless timely preventer is likely to become chargeable
thereunto Which we adjudge to be true And forasmuch as it
appeareth unto us the Said Justices upon the Oath of the Said
Jane Ascough < no role > that her Said husband was last legally
Settled in the Hamblett of Ratcliffe in the parish of St.
Dunstan Stepney in the Said County And no other legall
Settlement elsewhere appearing unto us Since Wee doe alsoe
adjudge the last legall Settlement of the Said Jane
Ascough
< no role > to be in the Said Hamblett of Ratcliffe in the
parish of St. Dunstan Stepney in the Said County.

These are therefore in his Maties Name to will & require
you the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the Said
parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate forthwith to remove
& convey the Said Jane Ascough< no role > from out of your Said
parish unto the Said Hamblett of Ratcliffe And her
deliver unto the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor
there Some or one of them who are hereby required to
receive & provide for the According to Law Given under
our hands & Seales this first day of May Anno Dm
1725.
