To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
st. John of Wapping in the County of Middlx And alsoe to the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamblett of
Rattcliffe in the Said County

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands and
Seales are hereunto Sett two of his Maties Justices of the
Peace for the Said County of Middlx (Quor unus) by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. John of Wapping
abovesaid That Mary Heath< no role > the Widdow of David Heath< no role > deced
is lately come into the said Parish endeavouring to settle
herselfe there contrery to Lew and She being in Poor and mean
Circumstances wee adjudge her likely to become chargeable to the
said Parish And whereas it appeareth unto us the Said Justices
of the Peace upon the Exaiminacon of the Said Mary Heath < no role > taken
upon her Oath That she knows not of any legal Settlement that
her said late husband David Heath< no role > ever gaind And that before
[..] she was marryed to him She was a widdow and had [..]
[..] a former husband whose name was Abreham Shew< no role > and Sh [..]
knows not of any legal Settlement that he ever gained That
before she was marryed to either of the Said persons And when
a Single person she was a hired Servant by the yeare and
livd one full whole yeare as such in the Said Hamlett of
Rattcliffe therefore wee the Said Justices of the Peace Doe
adjudge the legal Settlement of the Said Mary Heath< no role > to be in
her own Right in the Said Hamlett of Rattcliffe Where she was
a hired servant by the yeare and livd one full yeare as abovesaid

Three are therefore in his Maties Name to Will and
require you to convey and Pess the Said Mary Heath< no role > from
your Said Parish of st. John of Wapping to the Hamlett of
Rattcliffe abovesaid and deliver her to the Churchwarden &
Overseers of the Poor there or to Some or one of them Who are
hereby required to provide for According to Le [..] Given
under & hands and Seales this 23d day of December
