Itt appeares to this Court that in the said parish of St
Leonard Shoreditch, there are threeDivisions orLiberty vizt the Liberty
of Moor fields, the Liberty of Hoxton, & the Liberty of Hollywell,
That the Chuchwardens Overseers of the poore & surveyors of the
High wayes have alwaies been chosen by the whole parish att
their publick meetings for the Election of parish officers But that
the constables & Headboroughsother inferior officershouse & the scavengers ever
since the Act of the 2d of Wm Mary Intituled Etc some time before

havebest Chosen for the Liberty of Hollywll by the Inhabitants of
that liberty only without the Intervention of the Inhabitants of
the That Liberties That one notice poores rate has alwaies been
made for the whole Parish & by the Inhabitants of the whole parish
for Releife oftheall theire poore That there has been noe Rate
ever madewithfor Repaires of the Highwayes within this Parish,
the Statute worke & the Penalties required or Defaltess whole parish being sufficient
to answer all that service Butthe Inh thatever since the making
of the Said act of the of wth Mary for some years before there have beet distinct & seperate
scavengers rates made by the said three liberties, & those rates
distseperately accounted for to ye Inhabitants of the respective Liberties
only, In thetakeing of wch. Accts.making of wch. rates & takeing the
Accts. of them the Inhabitants of the severall [..] Liberty, neverinterpos'dinterfer'd
with each other And itt being Justices or That the said Scavengers
Rate we madefoas aforesaid illegall for that there ought to have been
one intire Rate made for the whole parish this Courtis of Opinion Etc
