Ordered by this Court that when any accompt or accompts of Crophy
money raised within this County shall be transmitted from the Board
of Lieutenancy of this County to the Justices of the peace of the said
County in their General Quarter Sessions to be assembled for their
examination stateing and allowance of the same, the said Board
of Lieutenancy Doe also at the same time transmitt to such Justices
a Duplicate of such accompt or accompts and that the said Board
of Lieutenancy do also cause the accounts of the Treasurer for the
time being to be taken upon Oath every six months before them
and certify a Duplicate of the accounts so by them from time to time
taken at the same time to be kept among the Records of the Court
according to the form of the Statute in that case made and provided
and for the more effectuall redressing the greviances in the said
Report mentioned and preventing such indirect practices for the
future It is further Ordered by this Court that a Representation
of the matters aforesaid be presented by the Body of his Maties.
Justices of the peace of this County to the most noble Thomas
Holles
< no role > Duke of Newcastle Lord Lieutennant and Custos Rottorr
of this County in person And for that end and purpose It is
hereby recomended and referred unto the Committees named in
the said Order made on the second day of July last and also unto
Thomas pindar< no role > and Giles Earle< no role > Esqrs . two other of his Maties.
Justices of the peace of the said County or any three or more of them
to assemble and meet together at such times and places as they
shall think fit to draw up and prepare the Representation
aforesaid.
