Sheweth

That your peticoner stands Indicted for an Assault upon Ann
White< no role > to Which Indictment your peticoner Traversed and put in
Bayle the last Sessions.

That your Peticoner Intended to try the said Traverse this present
Sessions But your Peticoner is Advised It is not safe for your peticonr
to try the said Traverse Two of your Peticoners Most Materiall
Witnesses being at Present not to be found As by your Peticoners
Affidt Annex't Appeares.

Your peticoner therefore humbly Prays
an Order of this Court to Deferr the
Tryall of his said Traverse untill the next
Sessions.
