TheHis Maties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx this
day present at the generall revewing of licences for Victuallers in
New Brentford Division , at the Red Lyon in New Brentford ,
haveing reced informacon that you are a person not fit to be licenced
as an Alehouse keeper or Victualler,but ought to be suppressed from
Selling of beer, ale, brandy & other distilled liquors by retail have
Ordered that noe licence be granted to you for selling of beer, ale,
brandy or other distilled liquors by retail, of wch. I was directed
to send you this informacon & alsoe to sentto giveyou notice that if you continue
to sell beer, ale, brandy or other distilled liquors any longer than
about a fortnight (wch. time is allowed you to draw off yor. stock of
drink) you will be prosecuted for doeing the same without licence &
that you are lyable to the penaltys [..] Inflictedupon youby the law upon
such like Offenders, of which you may take notice,
