To the Rt Worshipfull his Maties. Justices of the Peace for
this County of Middx in Generall Sessions assembled.

An Account of the proceedings of Nathaniel Chandler< no role > High
Constable of Holborn Division, in this County.

That Severall Boys wandring about the Streets under pretence of cleaning
Shoes, have been apprehended & carryd before, Severall of his Maties Justices
of the Peace, who have dealt with them as they in their Wisdom have: thought meet.

That Severall persons placing themselves to begg in the Streets Highway's Lanes
& Passages, to the annoyance of his Maties Subjects passing along upon their
Lawfull Occasions, have been apprehended & carryd before Severall of his
Maties Justices of the Peace who have dealt with them as abovementioned.

That Severall Persons keeping disorderly Houses, & Houses of
ill fame, for the reception of loose idle & disorderly Women, & other
disorderly persons, have been lately returned to the Gentlemen of ye
Grand Inquest.

That Severall Persons have benn returned as abovemencond, for not
keeping their pavement before their Doors in good repair, & others
upon notice given them thereof have amended them, except Such of
them as are now returned to this Honourable Court.

That Severall Persons who have assembled together on the Lords Day
in the fields Etc to play at diverse Games, have by the Petty Constables
& Headboroughs in their Severall Divisions been dispersed, & Severall
of the abovementioned loose & disorderly persons have been apprehended
& brought to Justices.

That Severall persons who have assembled in Lincolns inn Fields
to play with Dice Cudgels & other unlawfull Games have been
Severall times apprehended & dispersed, of that now that Nusance
is almost wholly removed.

That Some Persons who have brought their Cellar Doors into ye
footways, & other nusances of like nature, upon notice given them
have removed them.

That the Severall Petty Constables & Headboroughs within ye Said Division
have according to the best of my knowledge done their Severall Duties.
