Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us Two of his Maties. Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (Quor unus) by the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Giles in
the Fields in the Said County That Elizabeth Hicks< no role > Spinster
is lately come into the said Parish endavouring to
Settle there contrary to Law And it appeareth unto us the Said
Justices that She isthey [..] likely to become chargable to the said
parish And whereas upon examination of the Said Elizabeth
Hicks< no role > taken upon Oath it farther appeareth
unto us And wee do adjudge the Parish of St Mary
le bone in the Said Countyto be the place of
the last Legall Settlement of the Said Elizabeth Hicks< no role >
And do therefore in his Maties: name charge & comand the Church
wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Giles in the
Fields forthwith to remove & convey the Said Elizabeth
Hicks< no role > from the Said Parish
of St Giles in the Fields to the Said Parish of St Mary
le bone And deliver herthemto the Church
-wardens & Overseers of the poor there or to Some or one of
them who are hereby required to receive hertheminto their care
& to provide for them according to Law Given under Our
hands & Seals this eleventhday of MarchAnno
