[..] king of the Minories in the Parish of St. Bottolphs extra aldg [..]
the City of London late Master of his Majts. Ship Lynn Came voluntarily
before us his Majts. Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx and made Oath
that this Deponts. Nephew Canter Cremer< no role > decd. put out Henry Cremer< no role > his brother
Apprentice to James Gold< no role > Joyner which said James Gold< no role > at the time of the
Apprentices becoming bound to him lived in the Parish of St Mary Magdalen
Bermondsey in the County of Surry but a small time afterwards he removed
from thence and lived in the Parish of St. Jno Wapping in the County of Middx
aforesaid which was the last place of the said James Gold< no role > 's residence & abode
And he this Depont: further maketh Oath that the said James Gold< no role > hath
absconded his said last place of abode in St. Jno. Wapping in the County of Middx
aforesaid for above these three years as this Depont. is informed and he this
Depont. hath diligently searched and enquired for the said Gold at his late
severall places of residence but cannot find or hear of him but hath been
told that he is gone some where out of Towne unknowne to this Depont. and
hath left no Wife or any Person to maintain his said Apprentice Henry
Cremer
< no role > and hath not provided his Apprentice any Meat Drink or Washing
according to his Covenants in the Indenture now hath left any Person to
instruct the said Cremer his Apprentice in the trade of a Joyner as this
Depont. knows to be true by reason thereof he this Depont. beleives that
it will be his said Nephew the said Apprentice's Ruin unless he the said
Cremer be discharged from his Apprentishood and to have leave to be turned
over to another Master to learn his said trade.

It is ordered by this Court that the within named James Gold< no role > have notice
of this Peticon and that he do attend his Majts: Justices of the Peace ye second
day of the next Generall quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for this
County at Hicks Hall in St. Jno Street in the said County on Tuesday the six &
Twentieth day of April next at tenn of the Clock in the Forenoon to answer
the Petitioners complaint and shew Cause why the within named Henry
Cremer
< no role > should not be discharged from his Apprentishood to the said James
Gold
< no role > as he will Answer the Contrary at his Perill.
