Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of
his Majesties Justices of the peace for the Said County
(quor unus) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the Parish of St Giles without Cripplegate in the
Said County That Elizabeth< no role > the wife of Phillip Riley< no role >
is lately come and entruded into the Said parish of St.
Giles without Cripplegate endeavouring to gain a Settlemt.
there Contrary to Law and is like to become a great charge
to the Said parish (if not Speedily prevented) And whereas
upon the Examinacon of the Sarah Johnson< no role > taken upon
Oath it appeares unto us that the Said Phillip Riley< no role >
was a hired Servant to one Henry Haynes< no role > of the parish
of St Mary Hill near Billingsgate London for one whose
Yeare And that the Said Phillip Riley< no role > hath not
gained any legall Settlement elsewhere Therefore upon
the proofe aforesaid Wee doe judge and deem the last
legall Settlement of the Said Phillip Riley< no role > to be in
the Said parish of St Mary Hill near Billinsgate
London

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to charge and
Command you and every of you forthwith upon Sight
hereof to remove and Corvey the Said Elizabeth Riley< no role > from &
out of the Said parish of St Giles without Cripplegate to the
Said parish of St Mary Hill near Billinsgate London and
deliver her to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore
there who are hereby required to receive and provide for her
according to Law hereof fail not Given under our hands and
Seales this 27th. day of June Anno Din 1719 .

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St Giles without Cripplegate in the County of Middlx And to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St.
Mary Hill near Billinsgate London
