This Indenture Witnesseth, ThatWilliam Gwin< no role > Son
of Wm Gwin< no role > of ye Parish of St James is Westmr
doth put himself. Apprentice to Mr Frederick Richards< no role > and
to learn hisAct and with him after the manner of an. Apprentice to serve from
thefifteenth day of January 1715 -16 unto the
full end and term of [..] Years from thence next ensuing, and pitty to be
compleat and ended; durina which term the said. Apprentice hissaid.Master
faithfully shall and will serve hisSecrets keep, hislaw pit Commandments every
where gladly da - heshall do no Damage to his saidMasternor see to
be done of others: but to his Power shall tell or forthwith give Notice to hissaidMasterof the same: The
Goods of hissaid.Masterheshall not waste, nor lend them unlawfully to any. Hurt to hissaidMasterhe
shall not do, cause or procure to be donesheshall neither buy nor sell without his Mastersleave Taverns, Inns
or Me-houses he shall not haunt; At Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful Game heshall not plan, [..]

Day nor Night shall absent himself; but in all Thinas, as an honest and faithful Apprentice shall and will demean and
behavehimselftoward hissaidMaster,and all hisduring all the said Term. And the saidand the

which he now useth; shall teach and instuct, or cause to be taught and instructed

Parents Shall Provide ye apprentice all moner of neoreing aparell and all
maner of repairs Deiveing the said term of Seven years
And for the true Performance of all and every the Covenants and. Agreements aforesaid, either of the said Parties bindeth
himself unto the other firmly by these Presents In witness whereof. the Parties abovesaid to these indentures inter
changeably have set their Hands and Seals the [..] fifteenthDay of January - 1715-16
