To the Rt: Worpll. his Maties Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlx in their Genal Sessions Assembled

The humble Peticon & Appeal of the Ovrseers of the
poor of the parish of St. Butolph without Aldersgate
in the County of Middlx.

Sheweth


That by ordr. under the hands & Seals of Thomas Rand< no role >
and John Whetham< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties Justice of the
peace for the Said County (Quor. un) bearing date the Twentieth
day of February instant Richard Hawkshead< no role > , Elizabeth< no role > his
wife & their three Children (vizt.) Mary< no role > , John< no role > & Sarah< no role >
were removed from the parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate
in the said County to the said parish of St: Butolph
without Aldersgate in the County of Middx aforesaid
as the place of their last legall Settlement.

That yor. Petrs. think themselves aggreived, by the ordr. of
the said two Justices & hope to make it appear that the
Said Richard Hawkshead< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife & their Said
three Children have not any Settlemt. in the Said
Parish of St. Butolph without Aldersgate in the Said
County And therefore appeal from the Ordr. of the
Said two Justices to yor. Worpps

Yor. petrs. therefore humbly prays yor.
Worpps to appoint a day for the
Churchwardns. & Overseers of the poor of
the parish of St. Giles without
Cripplegate in this County to attend
yor. Worpps & to abide Such ordr. as
Yor. Worpps Shall make on hearing
the Sd. Appeal

And yor. petrs. Shall pray Etc.
