For the mutuall Ease of this Burrough & Liberty & of the County of Middx it is at this Prsent
Session order'd by the Court that his Mats. Justices of the peace for the said County of Middx
be desired to order the Constables of Southmimes in Middx to convey through this Liberty
towards London such Vargts. & others as shall be taken up there, or brought thither with
passes. And that the Chief Constables or Trearer of this Burrough & Liberty doe out of the
moneys that shall be levied on that Acct. & Quartridy moneys reimburse the said Constables
of Southmimes the Charges they shall be at in so doeing for that pt of this Liberty through
wch they shall be so conveyed; So it exceed not Six pence P Mile for a Cart & three pence
P Mile poor an horse for such as shall be carried in a Cart or on horsback that are not able
to got on foot. And this Court doth further order that the Constables of Chipping Burnett
in this Liberty doe convey such as shall be taken up there or brought thither wth Passes,
through the said County of Middx towards St. Albans or Bps Hatfield. The Chief Constables or
Trearers for the said County of Middx reimbursing them in like manner for that pt of
Middx through wth they shall be so conveyed.

Upon Informacon given to this Court by Tho. Richards< no role > gent on behalf of the Inhabitts of the
Burrough & liberty of St. Albans in the County of Hertford that an Order had been made at
the Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace holder for the said Burrough & Liberty for the
Trearer of the moneys collected for passing of Vagrts wth in the said Burrough & Liberty to
satisfie the Constable of Southmimes in this County for his trouble & Expences in conveying
of Vagrts. for the Space of Two Miles in the said Liberty of St. Albans towards London vizt
between Chipping Barnett & Whetston. And therefore the Inhabitts of the said Burrough
& Liberty prayed an Order of this Court for the Trearer of the moneys collected for passing
of Vagrts. wthin this County to satisfie the Constable of Chipping Barnett wth in the said
Liberty of St. Albans for his trouble & expences in conveying of Vagrts from Chipping Barnett
to Southmimes in the way to St. Albans, being about Three Miles, or to Potters Carr in the way
to Bps Hatfield in the said County of Hertford. This Court upon Debate of the said matter, &
upon Informacon given them, That such Vagrts as are conveyed from this County towards the
said Burrough & Liberty of St. Albans ought either to be conveyed to that yt of the said Liberty
of St. Albans wch lyeth next to that pt of Chipping Barnett wth is in this County, or to Ridge
in the County of Hertford, but not from Whetston in this County; doth order that it be, & it
is hereby referred unto Sr. Jon. Austen< no role > Barrt . Sr. David Hechstetter< no role > Knt . Ri Woollaston< no role > Ri Brown< no role >
George Hadley< no role > Jon. Richardson< no role > Tho. Reynolds< no role > Geo. Bourn< no role > & Marmaduke Bealing< no role > Esquires Justices
of the peace for this County, or any Three of them to inquire & settle the places to wth such
Vagrts. as are from time to time passed from any pt of this County in their way towards the
said Burrough & Liberty, ought to be left by the Constables of this County. And to Report their
Opinions touching the Prmisses unto his Mats. Justices of the peace at the next Generall Quarter
Sessions of the peace to be helden for the County.

For as much as it is the Opinion of this Court that the Constables in Middx by the Statute
made 12 o. Anne my Regin for reduceing the Laws relateing to Regnes Etc into one Act of
Parliamt. Etc are obliged to convey such Vagrts. as are taken up their or brought thithers wth Passes
through their said County of Middx & ought not to leave them at Clipping Barnett wthin
this Liberty as they have done of late. This Court doth therefore order that the Constables of
Chipping Barnett aforesaid doe not entertaine any such Vagrts that shall be brought to
them by or from any of the Constables of Middx for the future; & that from henceforth they
doe forth wth convey them to Mimes side of Barnett in the said County of Middx as oft as any
such Vagrts. shall be brought thither or left there as aforesaid.
