Whereas Upon [..] reading the humble peticon and
appeale of John Tyser< no role > exhibited unto the Court of Generall
Quarter Sessions of the peace held for this County in the
Month of July last setting forth that by a Judgmt. or Order
under the hands & Seals of Lawrence Saint Loe and
Anthony Mann< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties. Justices of the peace
for this County (Quorum unus) bearing date the twentieth
day of May last the Petr. is charged to be the reputed Father
of a Male bastard child borne in the parish of St. James
Westmr on the nineteenth day of May last on the body of
Sarah Roberts< no role > Singlewoman , And that the Petr. thereby
thought himselfe aggreived and appealed to the sd. Court
against the Same It was Ordered by the sd. Court that the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish of
St. James Westmr. & all other Persons concerned Should
attend the sd. Court on the nineteenth day of the Same Month
of July to heare & abide the Judgmt. & determinacon of the
Same Court touching the Said appeale, And whereas by
Order made by the Same Court of Generall Quarter
Sessions of the peace being held for the sd. County by adjornmt.
on the sd. nineteenth day of July last for the reasons therein
contained the heareing & determining of the sd. appeale
was adjorned Untill the then next Generall Quarter sessions
of the peace to be held for this County, And by Order made
at the last menconed Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace
being holden for the Said County by adjornmt. on the
fifteenth day of October now last past [..]
