To the Constable Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
of the parish of St. John of Wappin in the County of Middlx, And
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of St. Peter Poor in the Citty of London and to every of them

Whereas it appeareth unto us Two of his Majties Justices of the
Peace for the said County of Middx (Quorum Unus) upon the complaint
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St.
John of Wapping abovesaid that Thomas Waite< no role > and Margaret< no role > his
wife with their Four Children viz. Susanna Waite< no role > aged about
Eleven years, Elizabeth< no role > aged about Nine years, Mary< no role > aged
about Six years and Thomas Waite< no role > aged about Three years, (all the
lawfull Issue of the said Thomas Waite< no role > and Margaret< no role > his wife )
are lately come into the said parish of St John of Wapping
endeavouring to Settle themselves there contrary to Law and by
reason of their poverty are likely to become chargeable to the sd
parish if not speedily prevented all which wee the Said Justices
of the Peace doe adjudge to be time, And whereas it further also
appeareth unto us upon Oath that the said Thomas Waite< no role > was
last legally settled in the parish of St. Peter Poor in the Citty of
London abovesaid and upon a strict and Biligent examination
wee cannot find that the said Thomas Waite< no role > hath had or gained
any legall Settlement in any other parish or Place since, Wee doe
therefore adjudge the said parish of St Peter Poor to be the place
of the last legall Settlement of the said Thomas Waite< no role > , and that he
the said Thomas Waite< no role > and Margaret< no role > his wife with their said,
Four Children (Vizt Susanna< no role > , Elizabeth< no role > , Mary< no role > and Thomas Waite< no role > )
ought to be sent thither

These are therefore in his Majties. name to charge
and command you forthwith upon sight hereof to pass and
convey the said Thomas, Waite< no role > and Margaret< no role > his wife with the
said Four Children Vizt. Susanna< no role > , Elizabeth< no role > , Mary< no role > and Thomas
Waite
< no role > from the said parish of St. John of Wapping in the County of
Middx to the said parish of St Peter Poor in the Citty of London
and deliver them together with this precept to the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor there or to some or one of them, who
are hereby required them to receive and provide for as by Law
they ought, and for foe doing this Shall be your Warrant Etc
Given under our hands and Seales this Second day of November
