Upon the humble peticon and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of Hornsey in this County agt: a Wart or order dated the
twelfth day of July instant under the hands and Seales of John Fuller< no role > and Alexander
Ward
< no role > Esqrs two of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County (Quor unus)
whereby John Page< no role > and Elizabeth < no role > his Wife and their three Children (Vizt) John< no role >
aged about four years, Elizabeth < no role > Aged about one year and Robert < no role > Aged about
one Quarter of a year were removed from the parish of St.James Clerkenwell
in the said County to the said parish of Hornsey as the place of their last
legall Settlement And for asmuchas the said Appellants have alledged to the
Court that they could not be ready this present Sessions with their Witness
to make due proof on the behalfe of the Inhabitants of the said parish of Hornsey
touching the settlement of the said John Page< no role > his Wife and Children, And
therefore prayed that the benefitt of the said Appeal might be Saved to
them and that the hearing and determinacon thereof might be Adjorned to the
next Genrall Sessions of the peace to be held for this County It is therefore
at the request of the said Appellants thought fitt and Ordered by this Court
that the benefitt of the Said Appeal be Saved to the said Appellants And that [..]
the hearing and determinacon thereof be Adjorned to the Second day of
the next Genrall Sessions of the peace to be held for this County at ten
of the Clock in the forenoon at Hicks Hall aforesaid And it is further Ordered
by this Court that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. James Clerkenwell have due Notice given them of this
Order And that they and all other PSons concerned do Attead his Maties
Justices of the peace for this County on the said Second day of the Said next Genall Sessions of the Peace to beheld for this County at Hicks Hall aforesaid at the hour
aforesaid to hear and Abide their Judgment and determinacon upon &
touching the said Appeal
