The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish Covent
Garden in the said County.

Sheweth

That by Warrant or Order Dated the 19th: day of June
last , Under the hands and Seals of R Dennett and Samuel Perry< no role > Esqrs :
Two of his Maties. Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx
(Quor. unus) Richard Scutt< no role > and Thamar. < no role > his Wife and Elizabeth < no role > their
Daughter were removed from the Hamblet of Spittle: Fields in the Parish
of Stepney in the said County of Middx. to the said Parish of St: Paul
Covent Garden As the place of their last Legall Settlement.

That Yor: Petrs: find themselves agreived by the said Warrant
or Order of the said Two Justices and humbly Appeal against the Same
to this Honble: Court. And That for as much as yor: Petrs: Cannot
be prepared to prosecute their said Appeal this present Sessions.

Your Petrs: therefore humbly Pray Yor: Worps. will be
pleas'd to Order. That the benefit of their said Appeal may
be Saved unto them And that the hearing & Determineing
thereof be Adjourn'd, Untill some Day the next Generall
Sessions of the Peace to be held for the said County, And
that the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Hamblet of spittle: Fields (Upon Service of a Copy of an Order
of this Honble: Court) And All other Partyes Concern'd may Yr:
attend this Court to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determinacon of this Court, Upon and touching, the said
Appeal, And That Yor: Petrs: may have such Relief herein
as to Yor: Worps. shall seem meet Etc
