The humble Peticon of William
Brittain

Sheweth


That your Peticoners said Son hath been Confined
a Prisoner in New Prison in this County ever Since
the 17th of January last to give Evidence against
severall persons Concerned in severall Burglaries
and Fellonies

That your Peticoners St Son hath compleated his Evidence
and hath Convicted three persons on his Evidence
and is now referred to the Comitting Justice
to discharge him being Justice Ellis who refused soe
to Doe

That Yor Petr hath beene Obliedged to mainteyne
his said Son ever since his Imprisonment who
otherwise must have Starved and your Peticones
having three other Children to Mainteyne cannot
any longer provide for his said Son Who is very
willing to goe to Sea

Yor Petitr therefore humbly prays
his sd Son may be Discharged
from his Sd Imprisonmt
and Yor Petr Shall Ever Pray Etc
