To the Church Warden and Overseers of the poor
of the parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the
County of Middx And to the Church Wardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Clements.
Danes in the said County of Middx And to each &
every of them

Whereas it appears unto us Two of his Majts. Justices of the
peace for the said County of Middx (Quor un) That Sarah
Mitchell a poor woman aged about Thirty Five years wife
of John Mitchell< no role > who is gon from her is come & introduced
into she said parish of St. Martin in the Fields contrary-
to Law And is become chargeable to the said parish Whereof
Complaint hath been made unto us by you the Church
Warden and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
St. Martin in the Fields.

And whereas it also appears unto us upon Examcon
taken before us upon Oath and other Circumstances-
that the said John Mitchell< no role > was last legally Settled in the
said parish of St. Clements Danes in the said County of Middx

Wee the said Justices do therefore Adjudge that the
said parish of St. Clements Danes in the said County of
Middx is the parish & place of the last legall Settlement of the
said John Mitchell< no role > And the said Sarah Mitchell< no role > his wife
And that his sd. wife is now chargeable to the said parish of st.
Martin in the Fields.

These are therefore in his Majts. name to require &
comand you the said Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor
of the said parish of St. Martin in the Fields to remove and
convey the sd. Sarah Mitchell< no role > out of & from your said parish
unto the said parish of St. Clements Danes in the said
County of Middx And her to deliver to the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor there or to some or one of them
who are hereby required to receive the said Sarah
Mitchell into their Core and to provide for her
according to Law Hereof faile not at your perill Given
under out hands and Seales the Seventh day of January
Anno Dni 1716
