To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster in the County
of Middx And to the Church Warden and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Leek in the
County of Stafford and to any or either of them.

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of his
maties Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of
Westminster aforesaid (Quor unus) by you the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr. That Mary Hudd< no role > Wife of Thomas Hudd< no role >
and her two Children Vizt. Mary< no role > Aged about three
Years and Margaret Hudd< no role > aged about three Months
hath Intruded and come to Inhabit within your Said Parish
of St. Margtt Westmr. Contrary to Law And that they are
become chargeable to the Said Parish.

And Whereas it also appears unto us upon Examinacon
touching the premisses taken before Us upon Oath and other
Circumstances that the last Legall Settlement of the Said
Mary Hudd< no role > and her two Children was and is in the
Said Parish of Leek in the County of Stafford aforesaid

Wee the Said Justices do therefore Adjudge the Said Parish
of Leek in the County of Stafford to be the Place of the last Legall
Settlement of the Said Mary Hudd< no role > & her two Children And
we do also adjudge that they are become chargeable to the
Said Parish of St. Margaret Westmr.

These are therefore in his Maties Name to require you
the Said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr. to remove and Convey the Said
Mary Hudd< no role > and her two Children out and from your
Said Parish unto the Said Parish of Leek into County of
Stafford and them deliver unto the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there or Some of One of them who are
hereby required to receive the Said Mary Hudd< no role > and
her two Children into their Care, and Provide from them
according to Law hereof fail not as you will Answer the
Contrary at your Perils.

day of July 1716 .
