Thomas Sharpcliffe< no role > of the Parish
of St James Clerkenwell in the
said County.

Sheweth

That your peticoner is this year rated fourteen Shilling
towards the relief of the poor of the said Parish

That your peticoner is an Aged man and past
his Labour and hath mett with great Losses in
the world whereby he is reduced and having
three Children to Mainteyne is not able to pay the
said rate or any part thereof and Appeals
against the same

Your Peticoner humbly prays.
he may be wholly discharged
from paying towards the said
poors rate
