The humble Petition and Appeal of
William James< no role > of the Liberty of
Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and
Ely Rents within the Parish of St.
Andrews Holbourne in the sd County.

Sheweth


That at Easter last Your Petitioner was by the Inhabitants.
of the said Liberty Elected and Chosen to Serve the Office
of Overseers of the Poore for the Year Ensuing

That your Petitioner is a very Poor Man And in Mean
Circumstances whereby he is Rendred altogeather uncapable
of Executing the said Office And forasmuch as there are
Severall Inhabitants in the said Liberty of Farr better
Ability then your Petitioner and better Quallifyed to Execute
the Said Office Wherefore your Petitioner humbly Conceives
himselfe aggrieved

Your Petitr. therefore humbly Prays
he may be Discharged from Serving
the said Office And of Some other
proper person may be Chosen in
his Roome As to this Court shall
be thought Meete.

And yor. Petr shall Ever pray Etc.
