And For as much as the Omission & Neglect of the said Officers is a High Contempt the Kings Matis
and a very great Encouragemt. to Dice & Wickedness. Now to the Intent that the said Officers Who
shall hereafter be found negligent in the discharge of their Duty in the before menconed particular
may be pceeded against with the utmost Rigour that may be by Law which this Court declares
it is their fixt Resolucon to doe It is recomended by this Court to all persons who have a
Sense of Gods Honour and a desire to pmote his Glory and the Welfare of their Country that
they would give due Informacon to his Maties Justices of the peace for this County against all such Officers who shall be negligent in the discharge
of the [..] uty in the particulars above menconed or any of them or Shall be guilty of any
Connivance at any of the Offenders or Offeuces aforesaid and alsoe against all persons
who shall be guilty of soe ill a practice as to discharge any Officers or others from
doeing their duties herein And for the Encouragemt of the said Officers in the discharge
of their duty the Justices of the peace of this County doe unanimously declare that they
will upon request and as they shall see Occasion give them their utmost Assistance in
person or otherwise.
