Upon hearing of the appeale of the Churhwarden & Overseers
of the poor of the Liberty or hamlett of Hampton with in this
County against an Order under the hands & seales of John
Bateman< no role > & Leonard Hamond< no role > Esqrs . Two of her Maties. Justices of
the peace of this County (Quor Unns) bearing date the twenty the
day of January last whereby a Male Infant child was removed
ffrom Hampton Towne in the Sd County to the Sd. Liberty or
hamlett of Hampton wich as place of the legall settlemt
of the sd. Male Infant child, And upon hearing of what was
insisted on by Councell for the Inhabitants of Hampton Towne
aforesaid & alsoe by Councell for the Inhabitants of the said
Liberty or hamlett of Hampton wich It appeared to this Court
that the Sd. Male Infant child was borne in the Sd. Liberty or
hamlett of Hamton wich, and noe other place of Settlemt of
the Sd. child appearing to This Court Doth
disallow of the Sd. appeale and Doth ratify & confirm the
aforesaid Order of the Sd. Two Justices of the Peace, and require
[..] all Persons concerned to yeild due obedience the thereunto.
