The humble Peticon and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St Olave Silver Street in the City of London

That by Virtue of a Wart: under the hands and Seales of the Worpll: Richard Bouling< no role > Esqr . and Peter
Lavigne
< no role > Esqr : two of her Maties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middlx and City and Liberty of
Westmr . Quor Unus Bearing Date the 17th. day of July last. These was removed and conveyed
from and out of the Liberty of St Martin Le Grand in the said County into the Parish of St Olave
Silver Street in the City of London Sarah Jackson< no role > the wife of Thomas Jackson< no role > wth her two Children
Thomas Jackson< no role > and Sarah Jackson< no role > Setting forth that the Parish of St Olave Silver street aforsd.
was the place of their last Legal Settlement.

That your Petrs. think themselves agreeved wth the Judgment of the said two Justices and humbly
Appeal against the said Wart. and hope to make appear that the said Thomas Jackson< no role > Father of
the said Children never had any Legal Settlement in the sd. Parish of St. Olave Silver Street

And your Petrs. humbly pray the direction of your Worps: whether this your Petr. Appeal is
most proper to be heard and determined in this Court of Quarter Sessions of peace for the
City and Liberty of Westmr. or at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace for the County of Middx
at Hicks Hall in St Johnstreet. And that a time may be appointed accordingly for the Church
-wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St Leonard Foster [..] in the
Liberty of St Martin Le Grand to attend at such time and place as your wo [..]
think fitt, to hear and abide the Judgment and determinacon of your Worpps: in this [..]
