should think fit to be present or any five or more
of them to take a view of New prison
& the house of
Correcon
in this County, and to see if the same
or either & wth. of them were strong enough for the
safe custody of the Prisonrs. comitted thereto, And if the
Same Should Upon Such View apeare to the sd Justices
of the peace to be out of repair & too weak & insuffict.
for the Safe Custody of the Prisonrs. comitted to the
custody of the Keepers. of the sd Prison the said
Justices of the peace were thereby desired to consult
such able workmen as they should think fit, and to see
by what meanes the sd Prisons might be made secure,
