The Examinacon of Matthew Dickenson< no role >
taken before me John Stewart< no role > Esqr one
of her Majties. Justices of the Peace for
the said County of Middx the 18th. day
of Aprill Anno Din 1709 .

Who confesses before me that on Fryday ye 18th. of
March last he was asked by one Ann Young< no role >
& another whose name this Examinant doth not
know to goe along wth. them & they would give
him some victualls & Saith that about two of ye
Clock in ye Afternoon of ye. Same day being along
wth. ye said Ann Young< no role > & the other person upon
London Bridge they went togeather into one Mrs.
Millers Shop A Musicall Instrument Seller
under prtence of Buying A Necklace String &
upon A Stoole in the said Shop there lay twelve
yards & halfe of Lute String the Goods of Ann

< no role > wth. this Examinant confesses the Pson wth.
him & Ann Young< no role > Stole away & Saith ye after they
were gone out of the Shop the said Ann Young< no role > &
the other Pson would have P [..] this Examint
to have gone back into ye said Shop &haveto
take away another parcell that lay upon the
same Stoole wth. they told him they believed to be
A better prize then that they had already taken
but this Examint. Answerd them that he was afraid
lest he should be catch'd & would not goe & Saith
that he wth. the other two Psons went imediately
into Holborne & in some Lane there they sold the said
Silk to A woeman that seemd to be Lame & Saith
That he this Examinant had noe more then one
