The Information Prudence Burton< no role > Widdow taken
before me Peter Lavigne< no role > Esqr . One of her Majesties
Justices of the Peace of the said County this 29th. day
of January Anno Dom 1708 .

Who upon her Oath Saith That in the Month of April last
past One Mary Taylor< no role > als Faren< no role > Serapt at quanitance with her
in Cheape Side , and said that She lived with a Lady and would
help & this Informant to the makeing of a Rich Gowne (this
Informant being a might gowne maker) & then parted, and
three dayes [..] the said Tayler als Farren with two
other women came to her house in long Aley in the parish of
st Paul Covent Garden , and lifted up the Cath and went all
three up two paire of Staires into this Examinants workeing
Roome where She was and said She came about the Gowne and
desired this Informt. to goo with them to buy the Silke, who
replyed She Could not, And Following Stole and carriyed away
One Silver Watch Val. Forty Shillings a Lute string hood and
Scarfe dad Thirty Shillings an Old Allamode hood & Scarfe bad
Six Shillings and the some of Twenty Shilligs in money numbered
Etc
