The Informacon of Richard Dacon< no role > of the pish of
St. Gyles's in ye feilds in the County of Middx
Joyner taken before me the 1st. day of Aprill
Anno Dom 1701 .

Who upon his oath Saieth, that about a yeare agoe there
was a warrtt. brought to him by John Connell< no role > his wife or
Some persons belonging to them to Search the house of Gawin
Harding
< no role > of back side of st. Clements in ye sd [..] County for Cloath
that was Felloniously stolen out of a waggon, and upon Searching
the sd. Hardings house they found therein one Roll of [..]
Cloath near to a Cynamon Colour, wcch the sd Connell said was one
of the Three peices of Cloath that was stolen out of the
sd. Waggon, and produced a pattern of the Same Colour wch.
Pattern the sd. Informent believes to bee a peice of the sd. Roll
of Cloath, And this informt. further saieth that they carried ye
Roll of Cloath to ye Signe of the Covent Garden Tavern in Witch Street
where they staied for the near the Space of Two hours, in wch.
time the afforsaid Connells, and Mary Harding< no role > , wife of the
afforesd Gawin Hardin< no role > had Seuall private discourses between
them And further Saieth that ye sd. Harding Carried back to
his Shop the sd. Roll of Cloath, but whether the sd. Harding
was then discharged before a Justice of the peace upon the
warrant, hee this infornment does not Know but [..]
