The Information of James Gary< no role > of the Parish of
St. Clements Danes Linnen Draper taken before
me Ralph Marshale< no role > Esqr. One of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the said County this 23th. of August
Anno Din1699.

Who upon his 'Oath Saith That this afternoone Elizabeth Hunt< no role >
now present came into the Shopp Pretending to buy Musslin and
whilst She was lookeing & upon Some that was Strewed her by his
Servant , She drop's one peice of Musslin soe Strewed her Conseyning Six yards
Value Twenty Shillings & upon the Ground and drawing a Chaire
neare where it lay She Sett her Slefe downe upon he Said Chaire and
Stoopeing tooke up the said price of Muslin and conveyed it Inder
her Cates and carryed it away out of his Shopp, which this
Informant Observeing persued her and brought her back into
his Shopp againe where She drop't the said Peice Muslin and
this informant tooke it up.

Who being Examined Saith & Confesseth that this afternoone

but denyes all she rest of the abovesaid Information.
