Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us, Whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, Two of Their Majesties Justices of
the Peace of the County of middlesex (Quorum unus) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseer of the Poor of the parish of Chelsey
In the said County, that Anne
Gilling

Lately come into the said Parish of Chelsey
endeavouring to settle in the said Parish
without giving Notice in Writting to the said
Church Wardens, or Overseer of the Poor, or any one of them, of
the House of her abode in the said parish
Cording to the Status in that Case made.and Provided; And that
the said Anne Gilling< no role > is
Likely to become chargeable to the said Parish And
Whereas it appeareth unto Us the said Justices upon the Oath of the Said
Anne Gilling< no role >
that she was Last Legally settled in the parish
of st Clement Danes having there served one Mr
Hanbury as a hired servant during eighteen months
These are therefore inTheirhis Majesties Name Straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon fight hereof to
remove and convey the said Anne gilling
from the said Parish of Chelsea
in the said County, and so from
Constable to Constable the next and directest way to the said Parish
of st Clement
and deliver her unto the
Church Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor there, who are hereby
required to provide for her according to Law : Hereof sail
[..] under our [..] and stars the four
teenth day of July 1677
