to hear all parties concerned touching the Said rate and to examine
whether the same is made according to the ancient & usuall
methods & custome practised and used in the Said Hamblett in makeing
[..] the rates for the releife of the poor there; and according to law, or
whether the Said new rate is made after the manner of a pound rate
without respect to psonall estates, and different & contrary to the Said
ancient & usuall method and custome practised and used in makeing
[..] in the said Hamblett, and whether the Same be contrary
[..] the said Referrees are desired as much (as in them lies)
to accomodate and Settle the said matters in difference and to confirme
the Said rate already made in case they find the Same to be equally
and legally made; [..] and if the same be not equally and legally made to order a new equall and indifferent rate &
taxacon to be made & charged upon the Said Hamblett according to
Law for raiseing a competent Sume or Sumes for and towards the
necessary releife of the poor within the Said Hamblett to be
gathered out of the Same pish according to the ability thereof
And the Said Referrees are desired to report how they find the said
matter and their opinions & preedings therein att the next gewall
quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for this County
