Assembled

The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Margaretts
Pattons in London

Sheweth

[..] of a warrant under the hands & Seales of twoo of his Maties.
[..] the Peace of this County (one being of the Quor) dated the Fifth day
[..] instant one Henry English< no role > with his wife and Child by the Churchwardens
[..] of the Poore of the Hamblett of Ratcliffe in the parish of Stepney
[..] were brought to your Petrs. to be pvided for upon the Oath of the said
[..] That hee was last legally settled in the Parish of St. Margarett
[..] as a Covenant servant by the assignemt. of an Indenture of
[..] the same Parish Cord wey nor and lived with him
[..] he was in truth about Tenn yeares past the said Henry English< no role > was
[..] Appntice with one Stanly Johnson< no role > in the Parish of St. Paull Shadwell
[..] lived about First yeares And then the said Stanly Johnson owing some money
[..] Stretton The said Henry English< no role > by an agreement betweene them came
[..] Stretton to worke with him with whom hee continued about nine moneths
[..] And being now runne away & his wife lately decd The child named Mary
[..] left wth. yor. Petrs. to be pvided for where the said Henry English< no role > her Father had

Therefore yor. Petrs. Pray that the Churchwardens of the
said Parish & Hamblett may be ordered to appear before you &
that you will be Pleased to hear them all in the prmisses And to Quash
the said Warrt. And send the Child named Mary - English< no role > to
the Churchwardens of the said Parish & Hamblett to be pvided for
untill They can Free themselves of the charge thereof by due course of Law

And They shall Prayer
