WHereas Complaint hath been made unto Us,whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
of the County of Middlesex
(Quorum unus) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in the
Fields
in the said County, that
Mary Cavernough< no role >

Francis Cavernough< no role >
is lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
her Self there without giving Notice in Writing to the
said Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor or any one of them
of the House of her last aboad in the said Parish, ac-
cording to the Statute in that Case made and Provided; And that
She is likely to become chargeable to the
said Parish; And whereas it appeareth unto Us the said Justices upon
the Oath of the said Mary Cavernough
that She was last legally setled in the Parish of
St. Martinsin ye Fields
She being an hired to one Mr.
Macken in St Martins Court
in ye said Pish for ye Space
of about a year & a Quarter & hath had not Settlemt. Since
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name Straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to
remove and convey the said Mary Cavernough
from the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable, the next and
directest way to the said Pish of St Martins in ye Fields
and deliver her unto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor there, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your perils. Given under our
Hands and Seals, the Nineteenth day of May Ano Din
