The Informacon of Lydia Mackduggell< no role > of Queen street
in the pish of St. Georges Southwarke widdow Take
on oath this 28th day of May anno dui 1698.

Who sayth upon oath that Thomas Baker< no role > a Plasterer
did on Wednesday last come to her house wherein
discoursing, He told this Informt: yt her maid (meaneing
one Isabella Mechenney< no role > her late servt: had come
to his house with a Bundle & desired Leave of his wife
to putt itt into a Trunke which being granted) she did
& had the Key delivered her and ye he afterwards open
& Looking into the Trunkefearsawe there as to beleeved
between forty & fifty pounds whereupon this
Informt: told the sd Baker yt she beleeved the
said money must be stolne & therefore ought
to serve itt which the said Baker punised to do
& thereupon he [..] away in godinay great hashe & never sawe him since till now
And farther she sayth nott.
