That yor. Petr. haveing been a Slave att allgires for about Tenn Yeares
your petrs. Friends did about Seaven Yeares past vaise and lay downe for your
Petr. the fund of £450. Which was paid for your petr. Redempcon from
Slavery and your petr. haveing had great losses great part of the sd.
Money is Still unpaid by your Petr. and your petr. haveing Starre
meanes Sufficient to mainteyne himselfe and Family and being an Inhabitant
on Stepney Causeway in a house but of 6s. Pannm and hath been and Still
is overrated in the Assessmt for the poor of the sd. parish and much hitcher
then his Reighbourne of four greater substance and for asmuchas
his Neighbourns being rated but att 6s. Pannm for a Single rate and 12
Pannm for a double rate yor Petr. is charged & rated att 20s. Pannm for
the one & 40s. Pannm for the other

Yor Petr. therefore most humbly Prayes
yor. Worspps to be pleased to remedy his
Aggreicame by Such wares & means as
only yor. Worspps Shall Seen meet
