The humble Addresse of your Maties: Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlx . and of
the Grand Jury assembled at the General Sessions
of the Peace held at Hick Hall in St John
street in the said County on the 6th. day of
December 1697

May it please your most Excellent Matie:
Wee your most ducefull and Obedient Subjects do heartily congratulate
your safe and happy return into these your Maties: Dominions;

And wee beseech your Matie. to be graciously pleased to
accept our most humble thancks for your great Goodnesse and
Compassion towards us in rescuing us the at the hazard of your
Sacred Person, from Popery and Arbitrary Government, and
establishing us in an honourable and wee hope a lasting Peace.

Wee do faithfully assure your Matie: that wee will
do our utmost endeavours to support and defend your Sacred
Person and Government according to our voluntary Association
