Whereas the Inhabitants of the parish of St. Martin in
the Fields in the said County stand Indicted at the
generall Quarter session of the peace hold at Hicks Hall
in St. John Street in the said County, for not expayring
and amending a certain highway in the said parish
leading from St. Giles pound to Tyburne in the said
County Now these are to Certifie, That sd James
Dervy< no role > and Francis Negus< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majesties Justices
of the peace for the said County,upon our view made
this day do find that the said high way leading from
St.Giles pound to Tyburne in the said parish of St.Martin
in the Fields is in good and sufficient repayrd. In
witness where of we have here into set our Banks and
seales the one and Twentyeth day of may in the ninth
years of the Reign of our soveraign lord king William
the third of England St. Annoq Din 1697.
