The Information of Richard Portlock< no role > one of the
Constables of the parish of St. Paul Covent Garden
and John Bonner< no role > of the parish of St. Gyles's in the
Fields in the Said County taken before me Ralph
Marshall
< no role > Esqr. One of his Majesties Justices of the peace for
the said County this 22th. day of June Anno Din 1695.

Who Severally Say upon their Oathes That haveing received
Information that there was a worke house of Clippere or
Coyners in Sherborn Court in Stannop Streete in the parish
of St. Clements Danes in the said County they went into
the Court aforesaid and Searched the house of Anne Treberfoot< no role >
and in a Closett in the sd Treberfoots Roome they found Six
flasks one paire of Sheares & two files in a Bagg and by
the said bagg they alsoe found [..] four Stamps or Dyes,
a Small Melting pott Rubbing Leather & two bigger melting potts, And from
thence the went upon two paire of Staires and Searched the
Roome of one Leonard Norman< no role > and found therein Severall.
peices of melted mettall, [..] found false & Counterfeit
halfe Crownes, & in the Chimney of the said Roome two
melting potts, and in the Closett of the said [..]
one paire of Sheares two files two melting potts, Wales
& severall Cuttings of Copper And these Informants
further upon their Oaths say that they found upon one
[..] Susannah Smith< no role > (who was in the said house, and acknowledges
to have been with the said Norman, on Wednesday last and
alsoe Severall times before and particularly this day
fine false & Counterfeit halfe Crownes & false Shilling
And for that the said Susann Smith< no role > hath acknowledged
to have left the above mentioned things found in the
Roome of the said Anne Treberfoot< no role > , with the said Anne,
who they look upon to be a Silly woman and not Concerned
in the till say of this matter, They therefore Charge the said
Susann smith< no role > to be a Concederate with the said Leonard
Norman
< no role > at home they possitively charge with thetake ClippingCoyning or Counterfeiting the
Currant Coyne of this Kingdome
