The Examination of Samuell Fisher< no role > of the parish of
St. Paul Covent Garden in the said County vict taken before me
Ralph Marshall< no role > Esqr. One of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the
said County this 7th. day of may Anno Dui 1695

Who upon his Oath Saith that this day Judith Aldersons< no role >
together with one Mrs. Wyatt came to drinke in his house
and when they came to pay the Reconing, the said Judith
Alderson< no role > profered a halfe Crowne to [..] be changed to pay
the same, which this Informt. refuseing she profered him two
or three more to change, who refuseing the Same, the said
Alderson product Eighteene halfe Crowne for him to take
his Choice all which is false and Counter feit, and was
all the money (as she said) which She had about her;
whereupon he Stop'd her, and afeed her of whome She
had them, She said from a Goldsmith in Long Acree
and that she was goeing to pay her Rent with them, but
did not name the Goldsmiths name
