The Examineacon of Mary May< no role > This name instance is in set 2357.
Stanes in the County of Middx Singlewoman
taken before me John Phelips< no role > Esqr . one
of their Maties. Justices of the Peace for
the said County

The said Mary May< no role > saith that shee was Gotten
with Childe by one Samuel Wale< no role > late of Stanes
aforesaid Taylor about the begining of October
last And that about a month since Munday last
shee was delived of a Childe in the Garrett of
her Fathers house in Stanes, noe pson being present
with her and being soe delivered of the Childe shee
lett it lye an the place where it Fell; being on the
Boards one Corner of the roome and then cost
a peene of an old rugg over itt, but never Saw it
Stirr nor touched it, and soe soone as shee, shee
said Mary May< no role > had Covered the Childe Patience
Ashfeild
< no role > and Jeane< no role > the wife of John Roake< no role > ; her
Sister; came into the Roome to her; but that neither
knew any thing of the Childe nor of her being
discovered of itt; And the said Mary May further saith
that the third day att night after the said Childe
was borne shee tooke itt from the said place where
shee had laid itt and carryed itt to the lower end
of the Yard and [..] thrust itt into Kennall or
Sincke where much Dung and Mudd was Five
tymes with a Spade to Cover itt corder the Dung
and that there was noe pson then with her;
