Upon reading the humble peticon of William Miller< no role > Joseph Taylor< no role >
late Scavengers of the Libty of Holliwell street in the pish of
St Leonard Shoreditch in this County exhited unto this Court
therby Shewing that they have disbursed to the Raker for
cleansing the streets in the said Liberty & carrying away the
dirt & Soyle there the sume of seaven pound Six Shillings
more then they have reced of the Inhabitants there which the
Prsent [..] Scavengers and the Inhabitants of the said Liberty
refuse to pay to the Peticonr, & praying to be relieved in the
prmises Itt is thought fitt & ordered by this Court that itt be
and itt is hereby referred to Collonell perry Mr Withers & Mr
Underhill or any two of them to examine & allow of the peticonr
accompts, and what arrears shall be found due to the peticonrs
upon their accompt shall be added to the accompt of the
disbursments of the Scavengers of the said Liberty for the next
year and by them paid to the peticonr as soone as the same
can be collected, And the said Inhabitants are hereby required to
raise the assessment Pporconably upon all the Inhabitants of
the said Liberty as well for reimbursing the Peticonrs as aforesaid.
