In pursuance of an Order made as the Genall Quarter Sessions of the
peace held for the said County on Monday the Twelfth day of
October instant the Constables of the Pish of St Andrew Holborn
above barr's did attend us at the time and place abovementioned
And upon heareing [..] aswell the Complaint of Sr. Robert Legard< no role >
Knt and Charles Davenant< no role > Esqr on the behalfe of themselves &
the rest of the Inhitants of Red Lyon square in the said Pish as
allsoe what could be alleadged by the said Constables wee
doe think it Fitt that according to an Order made at the Quarter
Sessions held for the said County in July last That the said Inhitant
should have Liberty to place and maintaine a Sufficient Watch
and Ward and convenient stands for the watchmen at their Charge
in such convenient place in the said square as the said Inhabitants shall
think fitt and to be under the Comand of the said Constables and that
they bee in Consideracon thereof exempted from paying any money to the
said Constables Watch for the Future unless further Order of this Court to
the Contrary All wch wee humbly Certifie to this Bench.
